About us

Our family business was established as “Ing. J. & E. Mayer OEG” by Elfriede and Ing. Josef Mayer in January 1998. We are an Austrian family business based in the east-Styrian Göttelsberg near Weiz – so to say amidst Austria’s fruit garden.

 

In November 2002 “Ing. J. & E. Mayer OEG” became “MAYER & GEYER KEG”, when their daughter and son-in-law, Silvia and Andreas Geyer, joined the company. In addition Mrs. Karin Pichlmayer completes our team since November 2003. 

 

Because of our engagement we already supply a large part of Austria’s school milk farmers and year by year we are able to attract more and more direct marketers and school milk suppliers as customers or regular customers. The resultant growth in sales made it possible that the “KEG” finally became the “MAYER & GEYER KG” in December 2005.

We supply school milk farmers and direct marketer (farm dairies) as well as barracks of the Austrian armed forces, school kitchens and kitchens of boarding schools with

 

Fruit preparations of both conventional quality and organic quality (fine for fruit milk, whey drinks and yoghurt drinks as well as with fruit pieces for stirred yoghurt, desserts...)

Fruit juice concentrate (apple, elderflowers, multi-fruit ACE, orange, blackcurrant-lemon) of conventional quality

Whey powder and skim milk powder
Direct starter cultures and protecting cultures
Natural rennet (GMO-free)
Drinking straws
PET-bottles

and these produce always fresh school milk products (chocolate and fruit milk, yoghurt drink, whey drink), fruit yoghurt, fruit curd, desserts, fruit juice drinks, set yoghurt, fermented milk products, butter, cheese, curd and whey.

Because of the flexibility of our customers special niche products such as products made of sheep’s and goat’s milk are put on the market too.
